A bright and lively summer punch combining fresh strawberries, tart lemonade, and smooth vodka, perfect for parties or quiet evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 4 cups lemonade (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 1/2 cups vodka
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional)
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull about 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Slice them in half or quarters depending on size. Set aside about 10 for garnish.
  2. Place the sliced strawberries in a blender or food processor. Pulse until you get a chunky puree — not completely smooth, but no large chunks either.
  3. Make simple syrup (optional): In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Heat gently, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
  4. In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, 4 cups of lemonade, 1 1/2 cups vodka, and simple syrup (if using). Stir gently to blend all flavors.
  5. Add plenty of ice cubes to chill the punch. Float lemon slices and fresh mint leaves on top for color and aroma.
  6. Just before serving, pour in 2 cups of club soda or sparkling water to add fizz. Give a gentle stir.
  7. Ladle into glasses filled with ice and garnish with a strawberry or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Add sparkling water or club soda just before serving to maintain fizz. Use ripe, firm strawberries for best flavor and texture. Prepare puree and lemonade mixture up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerate. For non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and add extra lemonade or sparkling water. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup or lemon juice to taste.
