Easy 5-Ingredient Turkey Avocado Pinwheel Wraps

These pinwheel wraps combine creamy avocado, tender turkey, and fresh spinach in a soft flour tortilla for a quick, satisfying snack that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas (8-inch size)
  • Ripe avocado, mashed
  • Deli-sliced turkey breast (3-4 slices per wrap)
  • Fresh baby spinach leaves
  • Lime juice (about 1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Mash the avocado in a mixing bowl with about 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice until creamy with some small chunks remain. Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  2. Place one 8-inch flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Warm it for 10 seconds in the microwave wrapped in a damp towel if stiff.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the mashed avocado evenly over the tortilla, leaving about ½ inch clear at the edges.
  4. Layer 3–4 slices of deli turkey evenly over the avocado spread.
  5. Arrange a handful of fresh baby spinach leaves over the turkey.
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log, tucking in the filling as you go.
  7. Using a sharp serrated or chef’s knife, cut the roll into 1-inch wide pinwheels, yielding 6–8 pieces per roll.
  8. Serve immediately or wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

Warm tortillas slightly to prevent cracking. Do not over-mash avocado to keep texture. Roll snugly but not too tight to avoid squeezing out filling. Slice with a serrated knife using a gentle sawing motion. Prepare ahead by wrapping tightly and slicing just before serving. Add a sprinkle of lime juice over finished pinwheels to slow browning.
