A quick and easy creamy whipped feta dip with a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle, perfect for parties and simple snacking.

  • 8 ounces (225g) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced or grated
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 23 tablespoons (30–45 ml) hot honey
  • Optional garnish: fresh thyme or chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: crumble feta cheese and soften cream cheese to room temperature (about 20–30 minutes). Mince garlic and squeeze lemon juice.
  2. Combine in the food processor: add feta, cream cheese, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down sides halfway through blending.
  3. Pulse until creamy: blend until smooth and whipped with no large chunks. If too thick, add olive oil teaspoon by teaspoon and blend again.
  4. Season to taste: add freshly ground black pepper (start with ¼ teaspoon) and pulse briefly. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Transfer and garnish: spoon dip into a shallow serving bowl. Drizzle hot honey evenly over the top and sprinkle with fresh thyme or chili flakes if desired.
  6. Serve immediately with pita chips, veggies, or toasted baguette slices. Optionally refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Softening cream cheese is essential for a smooth texture. Use a firmer, less salty feta for best results. Adjust hot honey amount to control heat. Stir in olive oil or lemon juice if dip thickens after refrigeration.
