These creamy pinwheel sandwiches combine turkey, crispy turkey bacon, and ranch dressing in a flavorful, easy-to-make snack perfect for gatherings and quick bites.

Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • Cooked turkey breast slices (thinly sliced deli turkey or leftover roasted turkey)
  • Turkey bacon (about 6 slices, cooked until crispy)
  • Ranch dressing (½ cup, creamy; homemade or store-bought)
  • Cream cheese (8 oz, softened)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • Green onions (2-3, thinly sliced)
  • Fresh spinach leaves (optional)
  • Garlic powder (½ teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional extras: sliced red bell pepper, shredded carrots, or chopped fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon by frying or microwaving until crisp but not burnt (about 3-5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and ranch dressing. Stir until smooth. Add garlic powder and black pepper to taste.
  3. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and thinly sliced green onions, mixing gently but thoroughly.
  4. Lay a flour tortilla flat and spread a generous layer of the creamy mixture evenly over the surface, leaving a ½ inch border.
  5. Arrange turkey breast slices evenly over the cream cheese layer. Tear or cut crispy turkey bacon into smaller pieces and sprinkle over the turkey.
  6. Add optional spinach leaves or other veggies like red bell pepper or shredded carrots if desired.
  7. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, ensuring a snug roll to prevent filling from falling out.
  8. Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  9. Using a sharp knife, slice the chilled roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter with the spiral side up.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for easy spreading. Chill the rolled tortillas before slicing to keep pinwheels intact. Turkey bacon can be substituted with regular bacon or ham. For gluten-free, use gluten-free tortillas or large lettuce leaves. Optional veggies add color and crunch. Avoid overfilling to make rolling easier.
