  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120ml) sour cream
  • ¾ cup (180ml) buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • ½ cup (75g) blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives or green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or sturdy spoon.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour in buffalo sauce and mix thoroughly to distribute heat evenly.
  5. Fold in shredded cooked chicken gently to coat evenly without overworking.
  6. Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix in half of the blue cheese crumbles. Reserve the other half for topping.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining blue cheese crumbles on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped chives or green onions and serve warm with celery sticks, tortilla chips, or crusty bread.
