Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for spiderweb)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for spiderweb)
  • Baguette slices, toasted (for serving)
  • Crackers (for serving)
  • Vegetable sticks (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Squeeze the spinach dry using a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Drain and chop the artichoke hearts.
  4. Soften the cream cheese (microwave 15-20 seconds if needed).
  5. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  7. Fold in the squeezed spinach and chopped artichokes.
  8. Fold in shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan until evenly distributed.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish or small baking dish and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.
  11. While the dip bakes, mix the remaining 1/4 cup sour cream with 1 tablespoon milk until smooth.
  12. Let the dip cool for 2-3 minutes after baking.
  13. Transfer the sour cream mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
  14. Pipe a small dot in the center of the dip, then pipe 3-4 concentric circles around it, spacing about 1 inch apart.
  15. Using a toothpick or skewer, drag from the center outward through the circles to create a web pattern. Repeat around the dip, spacing each drag about 1 inch apart.
  16. Serve warm with baguette slices, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

Squeeze spinach thoroughly to avoid watery dip. Pipe the web while the dip is still warm for best results. The dip can be assembled a day ahead (without the web) and baked just before serving.
