These adorable Halloween fruit kabobs with a creamy yogurt dip are quick, easy, and perfect for parties. Made with fresh fruit cut into spooky shapes, they’re a healthy and festive treat that kids and adults love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Half of a small seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • Half of a medium cantaloupe, seeds removed, cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • 1 cup green grapes, washed and dried
  • 1 cup red grapes, washed and dried
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, washed and dried
  • 2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 2 medium kiwi, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prep the melon (5 minutes): Cut the watermelon and cantaloupe into 1-inch thick slices. Use Halloween-shaped cookie cutters to press shapes into the slices. Set the shapes aside on a plate. Save scraps for snacking or smoothies.
  2. Prep the remaining fruit (5 minutes): Wash and dry all grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi. Hull strawberries and cut in half. Peel and slice kiwi into rounds. Peel bananas and slice into 1-inch rounds. Toss banana slices in a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Make the yogurt dip (2 minutes): In a small mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness to taste. Cover and refrigerate while assembling kabobs.
  4. Assemble the kabobs (10 minutes): Thread fruit onto wooden skewers. Start with a grape, then add a melon shape, strawberry, kiwi slice, banana round, and finish with a blueberry. Leave about 1 inch of space at the bottom of each skewer. Repeat with remaining skewers and fruit.
  5. Arrange and serve (3 minutes): Place yogurt dip in a small bowl in the center of a serving platter. Arrange kabobs around it in a fan pattern. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, use firm, ripe fruit. Dip cookie cutters in cold water between cuts to prevent sticking. Don’t overcrowd skewers—aim for 5-6 pieces per skewer. Keep dip cold by setting the serving bowl in a larger bowl filled with ice. If making ahead, prep fruit shapes and dip the night before, but assemble kabobs no more than 2-3 hours before serving.
