Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 2 cups caramel popcorn
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate squares, broken into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 6 ounces aged cheddar, cut into cubes
  • 6 ounces gouda, sliced into thin wedges
  • 8 ounces genoa salami, folded into triangles
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds
  • 2 cups crackers (mix of buttery rounds and whole wheat squares)
  • 1 small baguette, sliced into thin rounds and lightly toasted
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced and tossed in lemon juice
  • 1 Bosc or Anjou pear, sliced
  • 4–5 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pumpkin seeds
  • Edible glitter or gold dust (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place 3-4 small bowls on a large wooden board or serving platter in a triangular or asymmetrical pattern. Fill one bowl with candy corn, another with olives, and the third with honey.
  2. Place the brie wheel in a prominent spot, slightly off-center. Arrange cheddar cubes in a small cluster near one edge, and fan out gouda slices in a curved line opposite the brie.
  3. Fold salami slices into small triangles and arrange in a loose pile near the gouda. Drape prosciutto in wavy ribbons next to the brie.
  4. Arrange crackers in small clusters around the board, fanning them out slightly. Place baguette slices in a row along one edge.
  5. Scatter chocolate-covered pretzels in small groups around the board. Pile caramel popcorn in a corner opposite the savory items. Sprinkle mini marshmallows in gaps. Break dark chocolate into irregular pieces and tuck near the brie.
  6. Place pretzel sticks in a small bundle, pointing in different directions. Scatter roasted almonds in small clusters. Add pumpkin seeds in a thin line winding through the board.
  7. Arrange apple and pear slices in a fan pattern near the edge. Tuck rosemary sprigs between cheese wedges and meat piles. Scatter dried cranberries in small groups.
  8. Drizzle honey over the brie and around cheese cubes. Sprinkle edible glitter or gold dust over candy corn if desired. Fill any obvious gaps with extra crackers or nuts.

Notes

Let cheeses sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board; leave about 20% empty for visual breathing room. Keep extra candy corn, crackers, and cheese on hand for refills. For a dairy-free version, use vegan brie and aged cashew cheese. Swap prosciutto with smoked turkey slices if preferred.
