Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 sugar cones (classic ice cream cones)
  • 1 cup mini pretzels (about 60g)
  • 1 cup popped popcorn (about 20g)
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries (about 10g)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (about 25g)
  • 1/2 cup Valentine’s chocolate candies (about 85g, e.g., M&Ms, Sixlets)
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips (about 60g)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker pieces (about 60g)
  • 2 strips strawberry or raspberry fruit leather
  • Festive sprinkles or edible glitter (as needed, optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and prep all ingredients: measure into small bowls, cut fruit leather into heart shapes or strips, and lay out parchment or wax paper on a baking tray.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth and melted.
  3. Line up sugar cones on your tray. Optionally, dip open edges in melted white chocolate and then into sprinkles or edible glitter. Let set for 1–2 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, gently toss together mini pretzels, popped popcorn, freeze-dried strawberries, mini marshmallows, chocolate candies, and graham cracker pieces.
  5. Fill each cone with the snack mix, alternating layers for color and texture. Press gently so the mix stays inside but doesn’t crush the cone. Fill to the top.
  6. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the filled cones using a spoon or fork. Sprinkle with more candies, sprinkles, or edible glitter while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Tuck a fruit leather heart or strip into the top of each cone.
  8. Allow the chocolate to set for 5–10 minutes before serving or packaging. Chill in the fridge for faster setting if needed.
  9. If cones crack, use melted chocolate to ‘glue’ cracks from the inside. For stability during filling, nestle cones in a muffin tin.

Notes

Don’t overpack the cones to avoid splitting. Layer ingredients for a colorful effect. Use a muffin tin to keep cones upright while filling. Swap ingredients for allergy-friendly or gluten-free options. Prep mix-ins ahead and assemble just before serving for maximum crunch.
