These easy mini turkey pinwheel roll-ups with homemade creamy ranch are quick, tasty, and perfect for parties or casual snacks. They combine turkey, cream cheese, and a flavorful ranch dressing wrapped in soft tortillas for a satisfying bite-sized treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8-inch flour tortillas, soft and pliable
  • 8 ounces deli turkey slices, thinly sliced, lean and nitrate-free if possible
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • Homemade creamy ranch dressing:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (full-fat or Greek yogurt as substitute)
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • Optional extras: sliced black olives, diced red bell peppers, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the creamy ranch dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  2. Lay out the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Warm slightly in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make them pliable.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer of softened cream cheese over each tortilla, leaving about a half-inch border around the edges.
  4. Spoon a generous layer of the creamy ranch dressing over the cream cheese, smoothing it out evenly.
  5. Arrange deli turkey slices evenly over the ranch layer without overlapping too thickly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions evenly over the turkey. Add optional extras like olives or red peppers if desired.
  7. Roll each tortilla tightly but gently from one edge to the other. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and place on a baking sheet or plate.
  8. Refrigerate the rolls for at least 30 minutes, ideally one hour, to firm up the cream cheese and make slicing easier.
  9. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the rolls into 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled.

Notes

Warm tortillas slightly before rolling to prevent cracking. Use softened cream cheese for easy spreading. Chill roll-ups for at least 30 minutes before slicing to keep them intact. Slice gently with a serrated knife for clean cuts. Can prepare a day ahead and keep refrigerated. Avoid freezing as texture changes upon thawing.
