  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (40 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (15 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder (1.25 ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (1.25 ml)
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (a pinch), freshly ground
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons water (1530 ml)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and measure them out.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Slowly add the apple cider vinegar while whisking continuously until the mixture is glossy and slightly thinner.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, then whisk until evenly distributed.
  5. Add water one tablespoon at a time, whisking between additions until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with a splash of lemon juice or more salt if desired.
  7. Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for best emulsification. Warm honey slightly if crystallized. Rest dressing in fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best flavor.
