A creamy, smoky, and fresh BLT dip perfect for parties and casual gatherings, featuring a smooth cream cheese and mayo base with crispy bacon and fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Carrot sticks
  • Cucumber slices
  • Celery sticks
  • Bell pepper strips (red or yellow)
  • Snap peas

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay the 6 slices of bacon flat and cook, turning occasionally, until crisp and golden brown (about 8–10 minutes). Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.
  2. Prepare the veggies: While the bacon cooks, quarter the cherry tomatoes, thinly slice the green onions, and wash and cut your fresh veggies into sticks or slices. Set aside.
  3. Mix the creamy base: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat until smooth and creamy (about 2–3 minutes). Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the BLT ingredients: Gently fold in the chopped bacon, cherry tomatoes, green onions, and shredded cheddar cheese (if using). Be careful not to overmix, or the tomatoes might release too much juice.
  5. Chill the dip: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Surround with fresh veggie sticks for dipping. Garnish with extra bacon bits and green onion slices if desired.

Notes

For best texture, use room temperature cream cheese. Fold in tomatoes gently to avoid watery dip. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Bacon can be cooked a day ahead and stored in the fridge. For a vegetarian version, omit bacon and add smoked paprika or liquid smoke. Greek yogurt can replace mayo for a tangier, lighter dip.
